Can somebody give me any advice on how to tweak the settings in Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead so it runs faster without losing that much graphic details. I'm currently running 2 ATI 5750's in Crossfire.

Turn AA off and mainlytry to mess with the VIEW DISTANCE I think its called or something along those lines. Thats how much in the distance you can see,etc.. mess around with that till you find a point that works good for your FPS and graphics. Maybe turn the shadows down a little to.

Arrowhead runs pretty well I thought, just mess with the settings would be my advice. Its a HUGE game the ARMA2 games with alot going on so dont expect to get FPS like most games. Still with your graphics cards you should be able to find a nice mix between graphics and performance.

Also you have all the updates? Good luck

It's badly optimized and it's annoying. You can throw in tons of RAM and the best graphics card and it will still stutter on the highest settings.

Arrowhead is a bit better though (not so much foilage).

turn off AA and set your view distance to around 1000 (iirc).

if that doesnt work, than slowly trim down stuff you dont think you'd miss (grass detail, tree detail, etc).

It's almost entirely CPU dependent. I get 51 fps in the Arrowhead benchmark out of a i5-760 and 2x GTX 460 at 1080p Very High.
