About time.. yes what they did was wrong, but they were obviously doing it for a game, not for spying. However no government would want their military installations looked at in detail. They were probably upset that they were doing it and hadn't been caught earlier.
I hope they learned their lesson. I don't think they need to capture every detail of a Greek base. Using Google Earth and their imagination should be enough.
About time... From what could be gathered they had a few photos out of 100+ that had some kind of military thing in it. Its **** crazy that they got put in jail for this in the first thing. Hell its common to see military around in greece anyway. Its not like its hidden over there...

Except that WarZ was built from the ground up as nothing but a cash-grab scam, to capitalize on the zombie craze. Presumably, the DayZ standalone will be.. well... like DayZ, but without the requirement of Arma 2 as a base game. If it's anything like that, it'll be quite different from WarZ, and it will be pretty much what DayZ fans want.
I am glad they are finally free. This whole situation was just silly.

It's already confirmed that DayZ is running on the ArmA 2.5 engine (Take On Helicopters Engine) and will have at the very least have ragdoll. And who cares about physics? While you're focusing on very unsubstantial and superfluous aspects of gaming, everyone else will be busy enjoying the gameplay. At least the bullet physics are proper, which is more than you can say for 99% of games out there.

The photos they taken weren't of classified military bases. The only thing found was in the pictures was part of a base that you can find the entirety of on Google Maps with much greater detail.

This is great news, I'm glad to hear they're out of that sh!thole (Greece). Hopefully they can get back on track immediately and help get ARMA 3 out the door in due haste!

Greece's rival is just across the border. Greeks are very sensitive to people who take pictures of military installations in detail. If the Bohemian developers ended up to be working for the Turkish government under the guise of creating a game then they also got to be concerned about that.
