- Darth Vader

if it was a one on one i think darth vader would win lasers>swords but if both universes clashed i think the scourge would win because they are so numerous.

Vader, because he can golf, I doubt Arthas is capable of such evil :) that and the Sith are more powerful imo.

Definitely Darth Vader. After all, if their swords were to clash, Vader's would just melt Arthas' in half and continue on through his armor. :P

Also think about it - Death Star vs. Frost Wyrm. No challenge

I'd say Darth Vader. It's interesting how similar their stories are though... how they both joined "the Dark side."

That's Arthas in his DeathKnight armor bud, however he was a paladin under Uther the Lightbringer's training.

well lasers > swords is right but being able to being able to punch an ocean of ice and let it crack into millions of peices, IN ONE PUNCH. seems pretty easy for the winner of my vote.

If this is restricted to a swordfight, Vader wins. He can swing his lightsaber anywhere he wants and Arthas can't parry at all.

As far as magic vs force..... I think Arthas wins.

Arthas WAS paladin. Than he got his hands on frostmourne (sword) and sword messed up his mind or smthing and he went crazy and turned evil. Started killing his own ppl and went to frozen throne,took lich king armor and he merged with lich king thus becoming really powerfull @topic, i like arthas more, wader is great (afterall,arthas is more or less inspired by wader) but i dont think of him as game characther,he will allways be movie star to me while artas is actualy born in videogame more or less

Come on, guys. Vader has no limbs, can barely breathe, and got his ass kicked by a 100 year old emperor. The Lich King is lvl 83, has 13 million health(and all of his limbs) and has an army of death knights. And Death Knights beat the imperial army any day. What good are lasers when what your shooting at uses death grip on you?

Hate to say it, but I think Arthas would win this one. If it were against Luke or The Emperor though, Arthas would get whooped.

Is it me or you are forgetting one thing? Darth Vader is not about lasers it's about the force, sure there are lightsabers but it isn't about that and in case you haven't noticed Darth Vader can also imitate that uber death grip of yours ;) ever heard of mind control, or the so called force influence? + it's not about the army they have but since you put it like that Vader shouldn't be included with weaklings that he uses kinda like slaves but with the sith army.

Arthas' sword, armor, and most likely flesh is magical. I think it would be able to repel Vader's blade. He could probably just freeze him and slice him in half or something.

Darth Vader would be to lazy to land on the planet with Arthas since he wouldn't give him much of a challenge, therefore he would use the Deathstar and since I have never heard of any warcraft lore having space flight abililites they = bye bye.

Well, you have to remember that mind control is useless against the insignia of the scourge. I guess it really comes down which is more powerful, the force or magic.
