Hey I am getting a computer pretty soon and was looking for some cheap games that i could play and found the first Assassian's Creed and BioShock 2 both for about $10. I probably will only get one of the games right now but I was wondering which game would you guys suggest I get first? oh and if you ahve any other good games that would be cheap you can go ahead and suggest them too.

Err.. Kindda hard to say. I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy both though but since you asked what to go first...I'll say Bioshock 2.

Then get Bioshock 2. Assassin's Creed is really great, but I think both Bioshocks are better.

More over, play the first Bioshock. It's better than the second one.

In most ways, yeah the first one destroys 2. The first one has a better story, presentation, atmosphere, and characters. The second has more refined gameplay. But if you can't find the first one at the same price, I'd say just get two.

Of the 2, BS2....but play Bioshock1 first.

Also, AC1 gets tiring very quickly. I would actually suggest reading the wiki on AC1, skipping AC1 and getting AC2 instead.

Only real replay value is the Plasmid and weapon upgrade path you take. First play through you could expert on fire, pull and grenade launcher. 2nd run through you could level up on ice, shock and shotgun.

Get Bioshock 1 and 2. Great games. Avoid Assassins Creed 1. It is a terrible game for so many reasons. There's little variety, poorly told and in many cases broken. The AI is so twitchy that the stealth aspect loses all balance. AC2 is a drastic improvement.

I just recently played and finished Assassin's Creed 1. I actually really enjoyed the experience. I liked the environment, level design and story. I found combat fun with the variety of weapons and counters. I didn't mind the missions (they are repetitive but fortunately you only need to do a few of them before moving on the with the story).

I played BioShock 1 in 2010 and found it didn't draw me in as much as Assassain's Creed.

I recommend Assassin's Creed 1 over bioshock, but I'm a little biased as I do prefer medieval, sandbox type game over a FPS.

If you're looking for a game that you can constantly replay for a while before picking up a new one down the road, get Assassin's Creed. There's a lot more replayability in that, plus you can easily load up any part of the game and just free-roam, whereas in Bioshock you do not have that luxury. Bioshock is however an amazing game (in reference to the first) and you should definitely play it. Although, once you beat it, it's just like, "why should I play this again right now?".

What replay value does AC1 have? You can collect flags and complete those other investigations but for what reason? Bioshock has a few endings and a number of ways to approach scenarios
