Played tons of AC2 and am pretty burned out of it.

I found the lod change and draw in shadows or misc objects very 'in your face' and distracting in AC2.

Is AC:B improved a bunch in graphics and gameplay to keep it fresh or does it pretty much only have an expansion pack feel to it?

graphics are basically identical. Gameplay has been tweaked here and there but its pretty much exactly the same. I liked the story in both and it kept me going. I'd say if AC2 burned you out then wait a while before playing AC:B Oh if you havent finished AC2 then I would advice it. AC:B picks up literally at the point where AC:2 finishes.

I'm having a huge fun with Brotherhood! much more then I had with AC2. Still if you're burned out of it I'd wait some time..

Same engine on every AC series so don't expect Far Cry 1 - Far Cry 2 differences. They does improve gameplay from game to game which is all we've been expecting for; but the really big thing between both games is the multiplayer option - they've improved it even better in Revelations
