I've never really had a problem hitting 60fps in AC games accept for the first one.

Wut???? the game run just fine, i never get below 40 FPS I said DIPS. DIPS. It ran mostly at 60fps, but the game would dip into the 40's, about 50% of the time. I find it annoying. My opinion anyways.

Yes, i can imagine how painful it must be having the framerate at 40 FPS for a split second. Oh teh horrors :P
It was always going to be after the console version because if you notice on the trailers it always said consoles release Oct. 31st but said "PC at a later date" or something along those lines. I was prepared for a few week difference.
But this is good, means we can see console footage and determine if it's worth the release cost and if it seems to be below expectations then wait for a price drop

I planned on getting the ps3 version anyway. I feel Assassin's Creed is easier to play with a controller

Though it often requires extra programs while X Box Controller doesn't.
But in the case of AC every part I own for PC (and that's ALL of them except for Bloodlines) plays fantastic with a standard USB Controller when you set it up right. Another great thing about the series on PC: Fully customizeable controller layout.
Yes, since we're talking about Ubisoft. Though I am surprised it's only delayed this little ... Meh, probably gonna be delayed further for early 2013 ...
I never played Ass-Creed 2. The first one was kinda fun to play at my friends on his PS3 but I never bought the port. Now they are making a third one? Doesn't surprise me at all, innovation is dead in this industry. Half-Life 3 is still in development too, but that's an actual good game that I'm looking forward to.
I really think im gonna give this game a skip this time around. Frankly I think the series has lost focus somewhere along the way. I like AC1 and 2 because they were stealth games. But right now its more like prince of persia with bombs!
A month is no big deal, especially since I refuse to even acknowledge all Ubisoft games' existence until I'm sure they don't have the dog leash DRM and therefore I can actually play them.
