Hopefully they nail the optimization this time. I'd like this to be the first Assassin's Creed game that runs 60fps without dips.Elann2008
Elann...must...buy...680...nao.:P
No surprise really.
And usually we'll get some nice mini free DLC for it like Da Vinci's Disapearance or the Assassin's Tomb and so on, I'm absolutey ok with it.

GameSpy: So when's the PC release date?
Ubisoft PR:October 30th.
GameSpy: Yeah, but when's therealPC release date?
Ubisoft PR:It's October 30th.
GameSpy: Uh huh. And can you say that with a straight face?
Ubisoft PR:You can ask me as many times as you like, but the answer will be the same.
GameSpy: Very well, let's move on. So, when will you announce the delay of the PC version?

Same. 2 and Brotherhood ran great on my PC.

It ran mostly at 60fps, but the game would dip into the 40's, about 50% of the time. I find it annoying. My opinion anyways.

Yes, i can imagine how painful it must be having the framerate at 40 FPS for a split second. Oh teh horrors :P
It was always going to be after the console version because if you notice on the trailers it always said consoles release Oct. 31st but said "PC at a later date" or something along those lines. I was prepared for a few week difference.
But this is good, means we can see console footage and determine if it's worth the release cost and if it seems to be below expectations then wait for a price drop
I planned on getting the ps3 version anyway. I feel Assassin's Creed is easier to play with a controller

There is a very obvious response to this so I won't say it outright and let you get it yourself :P

I'm OCD. I'm sorry! 1st world problems. :(This is just wrong, we know the PC version is lead platform (all the footage of AC3 shown at E3 was on PC, even at Sony's)
hopefully skidrow leak it a week early again, no one wants to buy delayed console ports

Lol for some reason I thought that was a fake post though I still have hard time believeing that gamespy actually ask that question word for word.
Ah sorry didn't know what dips mean, yes the framerate likes to drop from 60 to 40 but it runs just fine, you won't see the differences anyway >.>guildclawsThat depends on if you have a sight-problem or not.
