Hi there, I have a gaming PC. Spec: Motherboard: ASUS P5KC Graphics Card: ASUS HD5870 (EAH5870) RAM: 4GB DDR2 PSU: OCZ 600W CPU: Q6600 OC to 3.33MHz (Max Temp 58C) Monitor: Packard Bell 240 24 inch LED/LCD Anyway my problem is that when I play some of my games on full screen and move the mouse sideways I get a horizontal flicker line on my screen and when I move it up and down slowly I get some flickers that make the screen look like its under water/waves :-/ However if I just maximise the game window it doesn't have any issues at all I just don't like having the blue window line showing while I'm playing, also my brother has the ASUS HD6870 and that has the same issue/s. Any advise is welcome, thanks.

Either it's a gpu problem or your monitor is faulty.

hi there, yes, the latest drive came out 13.12.2011 software 11.12 I actually fixed the issue with homefront, the settings in the game you have an option to tick/untick the VSync option and that fixes it. It turns out that the VSync is to otimise the MHz between gpu and monitor. Thing is that in the CCC there is no option for the VSync and Rage don't have that option in the game eather. So don't know what can be done, I guess that VSync's for gpu's can be downloaded!! I hope :-/ Anymore info is welcome. thanks

The 5870 has a well documented history of flickering with two monitors (mine does), but I haven't heard of it doing it on one. Could be broken.
