I am trying to figure out which one of these to buy the 7300gt is $30 and the V999GT is $25. I'm on an extremely tight budget and the computer I am building is for older games 2004 and older.

please someone help me with my question

I'd go with the V9999GT, it's just a 6800GT with the memory underclocked to 350MHz/700MHz DDR, which should stil be more then sufficient to low it to outperform a 7300GT.
The V9999GT should fall a bit closer to the 7600GT albeit somewhat slower then it is the 7300GT, less memory but if your running primarily older games that shouldn't be much of a factor and the 7300GT isn't really fast enough to get playable frame rates at resolutions at which the 256MB would benefit it in any case.

thanks for the info. I had checked reviews and realized that it was an underclocked 6800gt. I wasn't sure if that would favour the 7300gt but it looks like you cleared that up so thanks
