Anyone gonna try to run it maxed at 1920X1080 or higher?

I going to try and run it at my native resolution (1920x1080).

Your thoughts?

native 1280X1024. i think i should be able to max it out at DX9 levels. dont have vista yet (waiting for SP1). since my card is said ot be overkill for gaming at that res i think i should get some pretty good performance.

1280X1024 on a 17.1" display (IIRC).

Specs are in the sig...

I don't have 4Gbs of memory, I probably won't until Christmas, I only have 2X1024Mbs right now and a 640mb card... probably enough.

Do note that I might get a few more FPS because I used quality parts and tweaked Vista. My Windows Vista (legit OEM) is also tweaked a bit for more performanc, Windows 98 theme, services tweaking, etc.

If it's not playable for me at 1680x1050 (my monitor's native res) I won't be buying it, that's for sure.

Right now I have a res of 1600 x 1200, so I may be able to run it with a few settings turned down. Maybe it'll be well optimized. I'll just wait for the demo to make a final decesion.

Screw maxing it. I'm going to run it at my native 12x10 resolution, most likely at medium settings.

E6600 @ 2.8Ghz, 256MB X1900XT w/ ICEQ 3 Cooler, Gigabyte GA-965P-DS3 motherboard, 2x1GB G.Skill DDR2 800 RAM, Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic, and a few other goodies. Nothing too ground-breaking - knowing a lot about PC's doesn't always mean you have the best on the market. Not that I honestly feel I'm an overly knowledgeable guy anyway.

I know a fair bit about gaming machines - that's only a small part of PC hardware though. I also generally know what's good, but I don't always know why, which is when I'd consider someone really knowledgeable.

Hopefully i'll get good performance at res.1360X768 on a 20.1" LCD. I'm selling my PS3 on ebay so I can get a 8800GTS...if that doesn't work out, i'll be forced to use my current 8600GTS and try to get medium settings on 1280X1024.

1440x900 on my 19" Samsung, or possibly 1900x1200 if I upgrade to the 2407 in time, although my chances of maxing Crysis at that resolution are rather slim.

1024x768 without AA or AF, but everything else at highest settings would be good enough for me. Even better if I can do so at 1280x720 or 1280x1024. Only problem is, I still have to get my new PC first, which now may not happen until late October, well after everyone's chucking North Koreans at each other and hunting down turtles. But, hey, that means more X38 motherboard choices and Crysis benchmarks to make the most out of my 2000 US$, right?
