Depends on your other specs. I have a 5870 and play max settings with 60-70FPS.LevrarI'm very grateful to you . but must I do off physics ? cpu : i7 ram = 4 gig
with an i7 you should be able to put the physics on Medium at least.
I have a 5850 with a cruddy dual core cpu and i can run the game on the highest settings but with physx turned off.

You can process physics... But not "Hardware Accelerated PhysX" as ATI devices don't have the hardware Nvidia devices do to do that... You can however get a cheapo 9800GT to run PhysX for you, though I here PhysX with ATI cards as your main display device is difficult...

I'm very grateful to you . I speaking English awful ...Why not just download the demo and see how well can you run the game yourself? There is even a benchmark included in the demo.the_ChEeSe_mAn2I use dial-up !!!!!!! who can put some picture of that difference ?
I have a 5850, if I turn Physx on I get between 10-20 fps. If you want Physx you'll need a Nvidia graphics card.

Then there will be some problems, because Mafia uses Steam and if it'll have updates you're going to need to download them off Steam and initially you'll need to download Steam (you can get the setup from somebody else tho) and wait for some updates to download.
A picture won't show you the difference, if you can run sd vids fine then check on youtube, search mafia 2 physx or mafia 2 apex comparison.
If you have an ATI card and Turn "PHYSX" ON you will get NOTHING! all you will get is a major performance hit for NOTHING! sorry you need a NVIDIA card for that

Not anymore, Nvidias newer drivers automatically shuts down the hardware if there are non nvidia cards detected

Thats what modified drivers are for.[QUOTE="DoomZaW"][QUOTE="Buttons1990"]

That's why in this physics war ATI is pathetic and should be ashamed, they were the ones that wanted to purchase Ageia (they planned for more than a year), they waited too long and Nvidia got them. Please Log In to post.
