ati hd4850 question

hey guys, I have a 600w psu and i wanted to know if 1) Would my psu be able to crossfire two hd 4850's and 2) what type of power connector does one use?

youll be able to pull it off with 650W with a single card i believe

but if you want two cards youd better go with 750-850W

uhh, no. According to newegg you need a 550w psu to power two 4850s and you need 2 six pin connectors.

Thanks guys i was kinda worried when you said 650-700w, but now i know u were thinking about hd4870.

ram- 4gb of ddr3 1333mhz

Not sure on your mobo...never really heard of it

but overclock your processer to 3.0GHZ so it won't bottleneck your two GPUs

yeah i am going do oc around xmas because i need a new cpu fan and i don't have enough $$$ after i built my pc i had to cheap out and get a 8800gt u know the one that was $80 so im gonna get two hd 4850's sometime(maybe soon because of the good rebates:D) and my mobo is crossfire. Thanks for the help!!!
