I have that exact setup in a HP dv7t laptop. I play BattleForge, Sins of a Solar Empire, Empire Total War, Crysis, and the Warhammer 40000 series without a problem.

You will have serious problems running new games at a good res with good FPS.

Spend a bit more and get a much better card like a 4850 at least, preferrably a 4890.

There's a laptop version and a desktop version as well. I have it on my lappy, and it's great (at least for playing at 1366x768) I can run fallout 3 on high, mirror edge on medium-high and so on...
