The computer I want comes with an integrated ATO Radeon Express 1100 graphics card. I don't really know if that is good since I only really know about the GeForce series and stuff. This card doesn't seem that good after looking at the GPU list and stuff... Should I just stick to buying a GeForce 7900, or will this card run just as good? I am guessing no... Just wanted to ask...

It's pretty good as far as integrated graphics go.

With that said, it's terible, and even a 6600 would destroy it. Don't get a 7900 though. Wait till april 17th, the 8600's are coming out for the same price. You could get an 8600gts and that will be about as good as a 7950gt to 7900gtx with dx10 support for $200.

Wow! I can wait that long. I won't be ordering the computer until around then, anyway. Do you think the 8600 will have like a special offer the first few days it is out? 0.0'

Don't get a P4, theyre outdate. Get an e4300, it's a major improvement, and not that much more if you wait for the price drops (april 22nd i think)

But I am buying this all in a computer. I'm not upgrading parts. So, what should I do? I need a computer for around $600... Can I get one that with 1GB or more and that thing you listed for around $600? The hard drive doesn't have to be big, but at least 100gb or more... I don't know where to look for a computer with that on it. And the reason it has to be $600 or less is because my parents plan on spending only around 800 for the computer and graphics card. So if I get the 8600, I need to find a computer that is $600 or less...

Don't get Pentium 4. Get "Core 2 Duo" - have a look at the E6300 or E6400

I don't want to build my own. I can't do that on my own, and I have tried to get people to help before. Besides, I don't know socket numbers or anything about my old computer. I just want a new one. Now, where can I get a computer with Core 2 Duo, 1GB or more RAM, 100GB+ hard drive for under or around $600?

Are you planning on playing games on it?

Depending on what you want to do is how your setup would be

I want to play LOTRO when it comes out. So I guess farely new... The settings don't have to be maxed. Maybe medium or something, but it HAS to be around $600... Possible?

EDIT: And by settings don't have to be maxed, I mean the settings on LOTRO don't have to be maxed. Maybe just a computer that can run it on medium settings or so with no lag. And I know not a lot of people can play it right now. And it will change when it comes out of beta, so I guess it is hard to know what computer will work good with it on medium...

Yeah, but won't buying a new computer just be cheaper? I mean, sure it is good to choose exactlly what you want, but that would be more of a hastle for me. Plus, are all cases compatable with all parts? Because my computer's case was old, just like the computer... I just think it would be easier to buy an entire new computer... I don't want to deal with all of the stuff...

no buying a new computer wil be way more expensive how do you think they make there money with 600 bucks you can get a way better computer than the one you listed and yeah it might be a little challenging but it will be worth it when you get way better preformance and less errors and as for you case you can just buy a new one there not that much money and if you build it yourself you have extra money to buy one

Thanks! I made a new thread. The budget for the computer was $600. The total budget was $800, but I had already chose a graphics card. But I made a new thread, and I am looking around now to look for parts. I want to build from the ground up. Case and all! XD
