does anybody know of the release date of this bad boy or around abouts the release date. I might buy it for a new PC I'm making so would anyone recommend it and why. Will it be the best graphics card out at the time? I leave it to you...
buddy the asus gtx295 mars is 1600 buckaroonis and they only make 1000 a year, so ur supposed to enter ur name for a raffle to get it then u pay the money.
Nope the king will still be the GTX295 Mars in performance, just not in cost to performance ratio... It's $1600....RedxSniper
WHAT? That card alone costs about as much as all of the PC parts I'm using now, along with the OS! (And if you factor depreciation, it's even MORE expensive!)
Yes, Vista will get DirectX 11 (of which DirectCompute is a component) as well. XP and prior are obviously out of luck, though. *Phew* Thanks for clearing that up for me.

wouldn't it be cheaper to buy 2 gtx 285 and crossfire them :? even if you have to buy a entirely new pc it would end up being cheaper that card is the alien ware of graphics cards!!! just buy quad 5870 for $1480
