Thanks.

oh it makes much more sense now, its a pre-built.
spittis
Still it's a quite sensible pre-built.
Your friend will surely be satisfied with it if he can barely run L4D2 with the current one. BFBC2 and the likes will propably run on medium.
Yes I know that, but it explains why the TC wasn't comparing other cards and only a OEM card.

i think as long as he doesnt go 1920x1080 and aims for 40-45fps average Bad company 2 will be ok for high settings. It has a fast quad core cpu that BC2 will take advantage of and a 6770 ( 5770 that is)[QUOTE="GTR12"]

If you keep to DX10 you can easily max out BC2 with a 5770. I'm averaging 50fps with a 4890 @ 1920*1080.
if you're able to build computers why not just build one for him, it will be a good experience and you will get a better computer and save some money out of it
I would but he lives on the westside of Canada, i'm all the way to the east. He may come down this summer but he wants to pick up a new computer in a few days. Also he isn't tech savvy so he really doesn't want to upgrade the computer. I told him in about 2-3 years you'll want to replace the card but that's about it.if you're able to build computers why not just build one for him, it will be a good experience and you will get a better computer and save some money out of it
