ATi vs Nvidia..
ATi's best cards: 2900PRO, 2900XT
Nvidia's best cards: 8800GTX, 8800Ultra.
Which side are you, Red or green?

If ATI and Nvidia were male and female, then I would be bisexual.
...don't ask me why I used that analogy.
Right now I'm on nVidia's side, The 8000 cards are just more appealing to me.Hellsing2o2
Who say's Yoshi with a wolfdale CPU that aren't even out...

I probably won't buy the Wolfdale since it's coming out so damn late...
[QUOTE="filmography"]sides are for fanboys, you should go for what card is in your price/performance range and is the best in said range.szewei85
LOL:lol:
He is bloody true, and his teory should be a lesson to quite alot of people here. ATi and nVidia like fanboys. They will always buy the card, no matter how much better and cheaper the card from opposite company would be.

Looks like someone drank NVidias coolaid.
This is where I do kinda second-guess myself and kind of wonder if people should favor Nvidia. I mean, Crytek is working with Nvidia right now, and would that mean Crysis would run better on Nvidia stuff than ATI stuff? Would Nvidia have special drivers that would make the game perform better on an Nvidia card? Having an Nvidia logo come up when I play games isn't something I want to see for the sake of healthy, fair competition. There is no doubt that this at least makes Nvidia the winner in the "image" department. But does this actually give a true performance advantage to Nvidia? I don't know; maybe someone could elaborate?
Also, who has been releasing better drivers lately? People are always saying different things...

No, the TWIWMTBP program is something like Nvidia giving $$$ to developers to put their name on the game plus shelling out loads of money to give them "test systems." It is sort of funny since Nvidia pays for Intel & AMD processors and even has systems with AMD/ATi GPUs in them. Basically, it is a program to help developers optimize for all systems but it obviously gives the advantage to Nvidia since they get early code from the game to help optimize their drivers.
