I prefer ATi but will always go with the best price/performance within my budget.I can't argue with you there; that's good common sense.

I always buy ATi cards in the high end for my main rig, but I think Nvidia are a lot more competitive in the mid range, I have 2 lesser rigs running Nividia cards. Overall though, I def prefer ATi.
What can I say, on the high end (minus DX10 cards since ATI's one hasn't been released yet), I'd for ATI, but on the mid to low end, I'd go for nVidia. But overall, my choice still has to be ATi. :Dpblancaflorlol so in actual fact nvidia are better in low-mid range...... and the true high end *cough* DX10 *cough* they are the only company so ati are beat at the moment........ I always have a bad habit of going for the under dog though so Im ATI :)
You are biased, I've had numerous drivers from them, never had a problem. ATI was good in 2D graphics cards and for general purpose graphics and it's fast RAMDAC when PC's weren't that powerfull, but once Nvidia broke through, they conquered the 3D world pretty fast and much better then ATI still does. However, I see ATI getting back at Nvidia since the start of last year. HDR was a bit of a miss, and temps were not what they should be, but the cooling and the tech. has changed a lot since then, and since ATI basically is ATI AMD now, it's starting to look better on ATI's work and technological development.DirkVDV01
