atitool?!?!?

when i ran ati tool i set the settings too high and the computer froze. I restarted and loaded atitool and fuzzy lines showed up. I restarted again and waited until the system cooled. but now it finds artifacts at stock settings!? what is wrong? is my video card broken? should i stop overclocking? I used the catylyst overclocking tool after that but ati tool still finds artifacts on those settings as well.

Are you by any chance running Fraps or any other program that displays your FPS? If so, turn that off. Otherwise, your video memory might be going bad, or it could be a driver related problem.

well i guess u might have damaged the memory ram by ur overclock settings...how bad are the artifacts?mike4realz

well apparently after i reset everything and turned off fraps i can now get no errors but a couple yellow dots in normal mode is that a problem? it dosent detect it as errors? I was also using catylyst. is that a problem?
