SoI have the logitech z5500 5.1 speakers plugged into my comp, and I also have Triton surround sound headphones that I want to be plugged in at the same time, so I can just switch between them easily. problem is that my sound card only has 1 set of jacks... so I have to unplug the speakers and plug in the headphones every time. Haven't been able to find any splitter or switch, but it seems like such a simple thing, theres gotta be somethin out there...?

ok so i would get three of these, and plug one into each surround sound jack on my comp? cuz it has 3, the left, right, and center jacks for surround sound. also, would there be any sound quality loss to have both plugged in at once?

Not really, you'ld notice it on proper hifi gear but not the sort of stuff you have.

Yes you will. They're PC speakers and a gaming headset, hence low end. With high end gear you'd notice the change in cable quality from the splitter to your interconnect but that sort of gear tends to use general electronics cabling.

PC Speakers are pretty low end as sound quality goes - it won't make a noticeable difference.
