Im thinking of getting a prebuilt, and I've heard this company praised quite abit. If anyone that has used can recommend them, and a decent build (I have around 1500 for a pc) I would appreciate it. Oh and I have the monitor, keyboard etc., so thats not needed. Thanks.

http://www.avadirect.com/product_details_configurator.asp?PRID=9554 Get a corsair 550w for powersupply. 4gigs of G.Skill ram. a hardrive space that meets your needs, E8400, and windows xp or vista. The only thing I recommend is to buy a video card at like newegg because price changes alot and sometimes they don't have the most up to date prices.

Me and a buddy of mine are buying it, and he insists that it be a prebuilt, so im going off that. I don't need a monster pc, and with my budget i don't expect to. But if i could run crysis on medium id be happy.

With avadirect its not going to be $300-$500 more at all. What I recommend him without the card cost about $100 more and you get a system that knows what works, and a free 3 year warrenty with awesome customer support. Ive built many pc's and its great but he's not going to save a huge amount and to him that extra $100-$200 is probaly easily worth the hassel

Ok, if itg gonna be a pre-build a prebuilt it is :P. For a decent rig go for a intell E8400. Atleast a minimum of a 9600GT videocard (obviously try to get somthing higher if it is in the price range range) atleast a 550watt power supply. 4gb of ram. Operating system is more of a preferance. Go with old xp, or get vista (which is really good nowadays) for the dx.10. Have a look around at cases and pick what you like. BUt make sure it has atleast a minimum of 1 120mm exaust fan and 1 120mm intake fan. Obviously the more there is the better. I would say th antec 900 is optimal for cooling the the pric you can get it at.
