Does anyone know the actual release of them? because the multiplayer is SOOOO fun, but its getting a bit tiring with how hard it is to find a game. I know they said they would be in the next few days but does anyone know the progress or aprox date?

I haven't heard of an actual date discussed yet. Looks like you will have to sit tight for the time being.
I would imagine they will get some soon, but they said the first dedicated servers will be a beta program. So, they may be here soon but may be a bit unstable.
Thats odd when you think about it.. Most good match makign services I get into games much faster then dedicated.. Often times due to me waiting in line to get on the server.

I don't know what games you play but I have never played on a matchmaking server that ran smoother than a dedicated server.

Dedicated - You instantly get into any server that hasn't player capped. And have good ping,
Matchmaking - Takes 15 mins, and you get random people. And crap ping.

That has been my experience as well, although not always a 15 minute wait.

Well I can't even get into a game of AVP MP, it searches for anygame for about 5 minutes, gives up and then puts me in a game by myself. Really hoping they release the dedicated servers soon.

Yeah this is getting incredibly annoying, the MP is so fun too, but its just so damn hard to find a decent game... and they promised the dedicated servers within the next few days... and its been like 3 or 4 days now... they better not say a few days meaning a few weeks...because they will lose a lot of players.

Yep, I don't want another Empire Total War where the multiplayer campaign was promised couple of weeks after release and didn't arrive for 10 months (also a sega game lol).
Though I will say that when Empire released their multiplayer campaign I went from having about 15-20 hours clocked into the game to 131 hours, so hopefully the same thing will happen once they fullfill their promise with AvP.
If they don't release them soon and AvP looses players, I will be SOOOOO pissed. I'll never trust SEGA again.

Yeah thats what I said, it will lose players, which will be a shame because it has so much potential...the multiplayer IS amazing fun.. i love infestation and pred hunt, they are great, species DM is awesome as too... but the fact I have to try and wait ages to invite people, wait for people to invite people etc is becoming a hassle.. every aussie is adding each other who plays this just so they can get big games started... but they did promise dedicated servers to be in a few days, and patches to be in a few weeks.. so if they are a little late, it may be understandable...painfully annoying but understandable.. it isn't easy with games upon release... but they really should have worked on this during the creation of the game.. if they **** this up, sega will not have a chance in hell to create any future decent games, because this is pretty much the last straw that everyone are giving them a chance to redeem themselves with the fact its a AVP game.
