  • I recently purchased a Saitek Eclipse II keyboard to replace my Trust Slimline piece of junk.
  • I use a Logitech MX1000 mouse. (Fantastic mouse)
  • While not exactly a peripheral, I have an Audigy 2 Platinum Pro with Recording Top Box. Perfect for home studio work.

What peripherals do you use, or recommend?

I really don't use anything fancy. Generic keyboard, generic optical Microsoft Mouse... I don't do anything so advanced with my PC that I really need any expensive peripherals.

IMO, the Z800 3DVisor is the best peripheral out there. If you have an nVidia video card with dual outputs, then you can play games in true 3D. The special drivers make your video card send a different image to each eye, so the image truly is 3D... as in IMAX 3D. But, IMO, it's much better than IMAX. Since they're 3D glasses/goggles, you're fully immersed into a completely 3D world.

I'm surprised that nobody wants to talk about these things. IMO, they're the best thing to happen to pc gaming in a VERY long time.

Why did you double post? Anyway, I figured that true stereoscopic 3d vr goggles for the pc would get more comments.

It looks cool, but it's too expensive at the moment for me.

I think that this sort of thing will really take off once genuine photorealistic graphics kick in. Gunmen of the Apocalypse from Red Dwarf kind of thing.

Makes you wonder how nice it would be when crysis comes out, or other high graphics and beautiful looking games come out. For the 3d glasses things.

Yeah, imagine playing games in TRUE stereoscopic 3D. I'm getting these things before the end of the year for sure...

I just worry about how bad it might be on the eyes. I can see the headlines 10 years from now "gamers using 3d goggles go blind or suffer repeat headaches from them".

Hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Mine is definitely different though. I would much rather be fully immersed into a true 3d environment. It gets me so excited to think about it. It's everything that the Virtual Boy should've been. It's color, it can be worn (tiny and light :) ), and it has the graphics of modern pc games. AAAAAAAAHHHHHH.... I can't wait....
