Hi everyone,

Just like MANY college/university students, I just got a new laptop for back to school. I am sure that many of you, who are in my postion, are curious to know the best games we can play with our **** integrated graphics cards (Intel 945)!!!

Please help us out by telling us what your favorite "non-graphically intensive" game! It doesn't matter if it's an old game or even a flash game, heck it could even be a rom+emulator game! Let us know!

Damnit...that's a MAC only game. Unless I'm mistaken.

Any other suggestions? Help us out!

yeah you're right. I Found a tutorial that tells me how to run it on windows...I simply have to install a program called ALEPH1 in every scenario.

Do you know of any other games? A good LAN or online game?

Thanks for your help!

One game that I know your comp could run that for some reason never got popular is Hearts of Iron 2: Doomsday. Absolutely amazing strategy game. It's graphically non-intensive. Very in depth. I love it. My friends who have tried it loved it. You can get it really cheap. I'd definitely recommend trying it out.

X-com: Ufo Defense & Terror From the Deep

Wicked games that can last and last. Always have amazing replayability too. I would give kudos to the Silent Hill series as well.

The Emperor Protects.

Dude WoW runs Great on my laptop, i have a minimum spec current gen macbook, although for anything lower you may need to set the graphics setting on low that way you can boost the frame per sec by about 20 on full graphics mine runs at anywhere from 15-25 depending on the zone in monster areas (in buildings and some other locations the frame rate is always 60 and up)

Wolfenstien: Enemy territory.

The MOST PLAYED freeware multiplayer FPS out there? I think so. Plus its OOOOLLLLDDDD and easy to run but still running strong and doesn't seem to be dying any time soon. Plus it runs on the Quake 3 engine so you know you can suspect some great action.

Star Control II: The Ur-Quan Masters. It has an awesome soundtrack, great space adventure and exploration gameplay, excellent humor, runs on 350 MHz PCs, and is FREE. What more could you ask for?

master of orion II. It's an amazing 4x game from ~ 1996. Also, I'd second the nominations for starcraft, fallout 1 + 2, x-com, and definitely the ur-quan masters... or, as I knew it, "star control 2". damn I'm old. :P
