Backlog Conundrum

I have gone wild on the cheap prices of PC games since my conversion from console gaming 6 months ago. I have a pretty big backlog from amazon, steam, green man, gog and gamersgate sales and I cant decide which game to get into now. So give me your thoughts on which, out of these bad boys, you think I should play now.

Choices: Witcher 2

Skyrim

Metro 2033

Dark Souls

Batman AC

Dead Island

I keep swaying from one to the other....its dooin ma heed in !!!

Skyrim is by far the best on that list.

Second would be Metro 2033 for me personally.

Skyrim or Batman AC. Then Dark Souls if you wait for the first patches.

Batman Arkham City

Top is shortest and bottom is longest:

As for Dark Souls and Skyrim, main quest wise:

Play Dead Island with a friend, because if you play it solo I can almost guarantee you won't have nearly as much fun, unless your friend is really boring or something. I played with one friend and the whole playthrough was a riot, and we're going to play again soon with our other two friends who also got it.

You should probably play through Batman: Arkham City first, then Metro 2033, since they're the shortest besides Dead Island. It's best to get the shorter ones completed before moving onto the longer ones, or you'll get bored of the longer ones faster because you'll want to go play the short ones.

After you beat those, go for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings and Dark Souls, as they're a bit longer (and way harder, especially Dark Souls) and there's quite a bit more to do.

I would end with Skyrim, since it's going to take the longest to finish and you're going to want to spend a lot of time with it. :)

I never said that. :O

To do ALL of the quests in Skyrim, jeez, that would take at least a couple hundred hours if you're not rushing through every quest or using console commands. :P

This is really smart yet simple. Not sure why I didn't think of it. I have so many games to play but I've found myself playing the long ones (Skyrim, Fallout 3). I guess I just like long games. :lol:

Yeah, as the guy above me said, Metro 2033 should be first, since it's a) really fun and b) pretty short. My friend beat it in one sitting in six hours.
