Dice did a good job centering the damn hud! Cheers.

don't get me wrong, its pretty cool, but the bars would get on my nerves more so than the advantages created by it.
Yeah, I never got why people liked 3 screens on games because of this reason. Now if it was a flight simulator it would be like the windows on the plane so the bars would be normal or when you are working on something in windows.Holy god. I just dont get how u can play with giant bars in the screen. Still amazing though.

People are just jealous? I'm a little confused. Because not everyone wants 2 thick bars running across our screen we're jealous?
Yeah the sides on the BenQ's are particularly thick, you can get same size screens with thinner edges but BenQ's are generally a lot cheaper.

For a flight simulator I would much prefer 1 big screen with TrackIR, you can look all around the cabin at all the control surfaces just by moving your head.

but if your monitor was in front of you, and you moved your head down to look at your flight controls, but the monitor was still in front of you, you'd have to roll your eyes up to see the monitor? perhaps i misunderstood?wouldnt this allow the player to see a wider surrounding of the player? and giving it an advantage against those who doesnt have 3 monitor set up..? or is it just some illusion
afterall isnt this the main reason why dice did not want to have widescreen support on bf2 and bf 2142... because it gives an unfair advantage..
The pics of actual ingame look AMAZING but the bars would just be kinda off putting although you wouldnt notice it as much if you are playing it yourself.. still i think someone should bring out a super widescreen.. seems the kinda advancement PC gaming needs to take things up a level.

You just sort of tilt/lean your head slightly while your eyes are still focused on the screen, the sensor amplifies your movement on screen depending on your settings so you don't have to move your head 90 degrees to look over your shoulder in the game.
This guy demonstrates/explains it better than I can :) :

Something like this?
Alienware has you covered, I thin NEC is making one as well.
Why is everyone whining about the edges of the screens? LCDS need that, and it's not very anoyying I game on three monitors... Well lowerendish games. Also to that dude who said giant screen, the resolution of a triple monitor setup destroys any single monitor. And workspace is directly proportional to resolution.JigglyWiggly_
its a great setup and all, but what im gonna be happy to see is when they have the circular tv's that wrap all the way around!
that would be even more badA$$.

this looks like exactly what i would want. but how does it work when all the games out there don't support that extreme 3.5:1 aspect ratio (or whatever it is)?
