Alright I think I may have to give up on the video card, but I ty for the help, it maybe be my fault after all guys. The card I just bought from Newegg , I may have been a tee rough with her. Ur not goin to believe this but it's scracted, on the x16 pins, right where it's attached to the card, on the copper pins thier is a visable scratch. I was planning on returning this for refund, but this may now be out of the question. The card is $50 ...

Does this scratch constitute physical damage? Am i stuck with this cheap bad card?

Is it possible I will ever get it working at all? Is it dead?

Can I RMA this thing back to Newegg? Will they accept the RMA?

If I got it working on my machine, can I RMA before 30 day warranty and get a better video card at all?

PLZ tell me my options... What would you guys recommend?

I need all these questions answered plz...

i suggest you rma it anyway. dont say anything about the scratch, just say it hasnt worked at all. pack it up all nice and neat and hope that its never checked (a fair chance).

RMA it to the manufacturer. Chances are they may not see physical damage.

I once managed to get a full ASRock motherboard replacement under their warranty because it had bent pins on the PCI-E slot (caused by myself from having removed my card too often). If even said in big bold red letters on their RMA sheet that bent pins weren't covered lol.
