Hey, so I just got a new 1080p 42" tv and the HD looks amazing through my ps3. I also got a HD box and the HD channels look good but the SD picture is pretty bad. There are tons of artifacts and it's just not a very good picture. I'm wondering if there's a way to improve the quality of it? Are there like up converting boxes that would help? Anyway any help is greatly appreciated.

Nope, tis a fact of LCDTV technology :\ They don't do non-native resolutions very well.

dang, oh well thanks for the help. At least the HD still looks good. That all that really matters. I don't really have to see Family Guy in pristine detail :P

You could try running it through an amplifier that does 1080p upscaling but tbh SD will be dead in a few years anyway.
