Everything works fine with Baldur's Gate 1 except when in combat, my characters just stand still, they don't attack! I don't know if this may be a bug or something, but this didn't happen yesterday, it started today.. Please help me!

are you talking about when you don't give them orders ? or do you give them orders and they still don't attack.

I talk about when I don't order them, they should rush into combat as usual, but as soon as an enemy is spotted they just stand still?? this didn't happen yesterday so I have no idea what the problem might be..

are you sure the game is not paused ? because there is an auto-pause option when you spot an ennemy. otherwise check characters scripts, if you have a script chosen they should do some actions by themselves.

have you installed any mod? sometimes this will happen in BG1&2, but oftentime it should be just one NPC, rather than everyone.

anyway, definitely check NPC script to see whether it's modified somehow by accident.

if not, you can try enable cheat keys through CLUAConsole; CTRL + Y kills off NPC one by one, and then revive them. this will fix any lingering NPC bug effect most of the time.

No the game does not pause when entering combat, and the scripts are as they were before this started to happen, like Ranger and Standard attack etc.
