Hey guys, I'm getting a barebones computer on Wednesday, and I was just wondering, what does a "barebones" computer really imply? I'm pretty sure It's the case with just the mobo screwed on, but is that it?

Oh yeah, I cant link the computer right now because Tigerdirect is down, but It has an Antec case, a 680i mobo, 750 watt PSU, Dual Core Intel 2.0ghz processor, XFX 8600 GT XXX, and 2 gigs of RAM. The only thing it doesnt come with is an OS, a DVD drive, and a fan for the CPU, so I am buying all those seperate.

Thanks guys.

I'm not really looking for anything new, I know what I want, but the question was: What exactly is a barebones computer?

And anyways it's 700 dollars and I cant spend more than that.

almost all of neweggs barebone systems come with a motherboard, and some even with a CPU, and Ram.

I was under the impression that barebones had the mobo already installed.
