Batman Arkham Asylum won't load save

Ok so i backed up the eidos folder where the saved game files and other misc files are. I installed a new OS.(from 32 bit to 64 bit of windows 7) Installed the game, and I put the backed up folder in the correct spot (my docs), loaded up the game and it won't recognize them! It just asks me to start a new game. So i did, let it recreate the eidos folder, and swapped the contents and unsuccessfully loaded the saved game. Didn't even recognize it, just like before.

Now i sign into gfwl profile fine!

does anyone know what to do, i just really want to finish this game... from where i left off.

(i emailed support and it they give me the correct fix i'll post it on here for someone else who may have this problemo.

That happened because of another copy protection method the game has that does not allow pirates to acess the savegames.Once again something that was made to stop the pirates is simply leading to problems for the legit users. Ahh, anyway, atleast they bothered to fix it.

No no no i meant i emailed them and i'm waiting if there's a fix they can tell me. im open to suggestions.

Then wait for them because i dont think there is a legal fix since the problem is copy protection related from what i understand and its illegal to mess with it unless they allow you to. If its not copy protection related then perhaps its related to the rights of those savefilles, perhaps your recent installation does not regonize them as yours and think they belong to another user or something, i dont know what to think.

Here's what they sent me.

bs... now im gonna have to go and pirate a save or something because of this bs.
