battle for middle earth 2 problem...

hello

so i recenctly got a new pc and i thought it would be fun to play battle for middle earth so i bought the game installed it and it won't work.whenever i click on the game it says it can't find the cd or it tells me to put the correct cd in the cd rom.so i checked out the technical support for the game and it says my system driver is unknown. im really annoyed by this can anyone help?

I use to get that too. You need to download the patches to get it to work. I have all the patches but there is still a problem with the game crashing my PC to the blue screen of death. Screw EA! The game wasn't that great anyway. The battles were so SMALL! I build many farms to get the 1,000(for most maps) command points cap (command points limit how big and strong your army can be) if you want a army of great size you need to spend it all on the cheapest unit. If you make a top tier well rounded you will have a army that looks like you could literally hold in one hand. the game isn't even met to have epic battles, its a rush game. A game entirely based on the cheapest and most hated tactic of RTS games. EA is the most hated publisher of games companies and they made this game themselves. Go figure.

EDIT: The 3ard or 4th patch comes with an auto updater, EA shut down their update servers so it doesn't work. :lol: What a joke.

love guys like you. This problem can occur for someone who bought the game, and for a pirate also. Dont assume he pirated it just because he has this problem. morpheus077

Yeah, sorry my bad, but I see people complaining always on other forums about the "insert CD issue" and that is 90% caused by a non-legit copy of the game.

thats true vash, but usually torrented games come with a NoCD crack.

They are legal btw, as long as you own the actual game, I believe you are allowed to use a no cd patch to run the game

Yeah, it's legal, a good way to keep your discs away from scratching.

But to TC, make sure you download all the patches and you don't have emulation software like Alcohol or daemon tools, etc.

Though it never happened to me on BFME2.

does any one know what programe it is to crate and edit maps on battle for middle earth or can they do one for me please ?
