battle for middle earth 2 wont install, need help

hey all, i go to run the disk to install battle for middle earth 2 and i comes up with D:/ is not a valid win32 application?

i have a dvd drive and i can run all my other games that are dvds fine, so if anyone knows, help will be appreciated :D
