The games pretty old, so probably.

This isn't the hardware forum though.

battlefield 1942 requires a 32mb graphics card XD so i believe you'll be able to play with no problems what so ever with the highest settings.

however, incase you're wondering battlefield 2 and battlefield 2142 requries a 128mb DirectX 9.0c graphics card.

I've got a nVida GeForce 7300 GT with 256 MB memory on it, and it runs Battlefield 1942 on high with no slowdown at all, so you could probably run it on medium, I'm guessing.

I have a 64mb video card and I can play the game on medium, but I usually play on low; however, the difference is subtle.

And yes, it is the best in the series. Great game.

Right now Battlefield 1942 is sold with all the expansion packs and Battlefield Vietnam. The pack is called Battlefield 1942:The Complete Collection and you shouldn't have trouble finding it a your local Target or Best Buy. Oh and your video card is good enough to run Battlefield 1942. I should know; I have the budget Geforce MX 4000 128 MB video card.;)

Hello, every time I try to play multiplayer and click update, the computer freezes, nothing works except to reboot. I have the 1.619B (latest) patch. My computer is up to date, AMD X2 7500, 4 gigs ddr 2 ram , NVidia Geforce 8500GT card, etc. Without fail, when I click update, she freezes up. This happened before a few years ago, and somebody suggested something easy, but I can't remember what it was. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
