battlefield 2 crashing ...

I am having a problem with battlefield 2 ... i lost my cd so i downloaded this game but i still have the proper cd key. i install the game and then i get the patch v1.41 and then after i installed the patch everytime i try to run the game from the .exe . it goes and gets ready to go into the game the screen goes black as if it was going into the game and then it just suddenly crashes and goes back to the desktop conpletly ... any advice

Well, I dont think you can talk about cracks in this forum.

The problem might be that you are using a "downloaded" CD for the game. You will need to use an ORIGINAL CD, so I will advise you to go and get the game again. I know it hurts, but well... its the only solution
