Battlefield 2 do People still play

I really like this game. But I stopped playing it because it was getting too hard to level up and get the rest of the unlocks. Not really sure what I was doing wrong, I used to always get in the top 5 or 6 players each round.

But still worth it in th long run

Are there good mods for BF2?

And anyone know if the game is on sale anywhere?

And 45 people playing Half life 2? Are they talking about half life 2 mods? (That's still a bit low)

I don't know how fast they update. Gamespy is a better source since it updates every minute but only show games using Gamespy. Here is another site http://www.game-monitor.com/search.php?order=players

If you are looking for mods, you could try AIX. Ita has several cool improvements to what BF2 already has, though youll need a decent rig to be able to play it with a smooth framerate.

The site is correct and maybe those are the mods I am not sure. If you go to Gamespy they have the same numbers but it wouldn't list TF2.

Actually gamespy does have tf2, but since it's kind of a mod for HL2 so you have to click on hl2 to see it

There must be well over 100,000 people play daily, thats just a wild guess, but to me - and i have played semi regularly since it came out in the uk august 2005 - it seems only a tiny bit less popular than at its peak, which was something like 55,000 peopleonline at any one time. There are hundreds of hits for servers even when you narrow your search with map and game type options, so your never short of a game, and what always staggers me, there still seems to be noobs around by the dozen on most servers. After all this time! One warning, stay away from infantry only servers if your new to the battlefield series or online shooters. Get some practice first, otherwise you'll find yourself dying more times than getting kills, plus as a game mode, it should be called 'medics and snipers' mode (it can get samey).

Ageneral question, is bf2 more popular than bf2142 ? ? ? ? ?
