so, i bought BF2 a couple days ago, and just recently downloaded the latest patch. I found myself tinkering with the video options so that i could have the best graphics possible but still have my GeForce 6150 run the game smoothly. After a little tinkering i started up a singleplayer game to see how it looked. The character models were invisible and guns, vehicles, and pretty much everything except terrain had a slight shade of pink. i figured it was just that i had something set to high, so i turned everything back down to see if the problem was fixed. Now, most things look fine, except that all the tree trunks look pink, and when you look directly at the sun, instead of a glow theres a big pink block.

so anyways, im guessing this is the patches fault. is there anything i can do? did anyone else have this problem?

Try reinstalling the game and not applying the patch...

I doubt a 6150 will run this game properly at all. Its not even a "video card" as we know them, its an onboard video chip that allows you to see the screen, very little else.

just started the game up, its lookin' fine now.

and yes, i know my video card is pretty crappy, but it runs the game fine on low graphics (i can set a few things to high). Im going to be getting a new one soon, probably a GF 8800 (go big or go home, right?)
