Battlefield 2 still worth buying?

It's only $10 at Best Buy. I mostly play games on my PS3, but I still play some older stuff on my PC like Counter Strike.

So is BF 2 still very active? Worth getting? I mean the original one from 2005, not Bad Company 2 (which looks good too).

Don't listen to him. I still play this game once or twice a week. I think it's aged rather well graphically wise and there's usually at least 100-200 active servers at any one time.

loads of people still play, and it's much less consolized than BC2, so buy it :)

Usually I'd say yes but the Punkbuster support is terrible, I get kicked out of most games within the first 30 seconds.

It is very much worth getting still, it is quite active, bigget then bc2, more team oriented, and has far more option for tactics.

And its cheap and can run on just about anything ;)

oh as for the PB problems someone wrote about: disable the steam overlay, problem solved ;) (yeah it is a pain, but aperrently all pb games outright hates the steam overlay)
