Battlefield 2 Stuttering...

When i play BF2 about 10 minutes into the game i start geting stuttering/pauses. fps seems normal though. then after a while it clears but it's annoying anyone have any idea what the problem could be? im stumped, i tryed removing programs from startup and stuff but no luck still does it. btw my ping is usualy solid under 50ms.

my specs are;

asus p5k deluxe

core2duo e6850

geforce 8800gtx

2gbs of ram

windows viata home premium

tryed 1024x768 up too 1680x1050 all the same... tryed medium settings same crap im realy stumped... on windows xp it worked flawless :S

ur probably sumfin wrong when u play it in vista, vista right now is fuked and many Dx9 games hav problems wen they run on it

Just for now, play it on xp:)

There's actually a hotfix for this very issue on Nvidia's website. http://www.nvidia.com/object/windows_vista_hotfixes.html

That really helped me out in my Battlefield 2 performance, not to mention some other games.

I run vista ultimate 64bit, and BF2 runs perfectly fine for memodai119

runs like a POS on mine :| the BF2 board here on GS was filled with "vista problem" topics..
