I'm waiting with great enthusiasm too! BF2 is my most played online fps with over 350 hours, and I expect nice improvements in graphics and gameplay in the next title. I have no real interest in Bad Company titles (consoles) or BF heroes or BF 1943. Only in BF 3 and/or 2143.
A cheap cash-in. All it is is the Pacific portion of 1942 with simplified gameplay(Infinite ammo and auto health regeneration) and better graphics/destructable environments.

I'd like it to be exactly like BF2 except more balance between vehicles and infantry. BF2 has a lot of diverse vehicles (BF2142, not so much). I also hope they bring back the old medic where you had to be actively next to someone to heal them (enough of this throw medic pack BS). And for everyone's sake, WORK ON THE HITBOXES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If all that is done, I have no doubt that it will be the greatest multiplayer FPS ever.
You know this is something I've been waiting for! I've played BF 1942, 2, and 2142 for many hours and I've been itching for more TRUE BF. None of this Bad Company BS.
