Battlefield 4 running horribly (CPU problem)

Dude, glad you posted this: so this morning I was getting so pissed off about BF4 beta that I read on a forum on some tips

I have a similar CPU to you so this may or may not work for you but here we go:

First, get latest drivers for GPU recommended for Bf4 beta

Second, navigate to the directory for BF4 beta folder, look for the direct x install .exe and run that.

Third: navigate to the temp folder (use search then %temp&) and delete all

NOW AFTER I DID ALL THIS : I still had stutter.

I couldn't even change my video settings in BF4 with getting a DX error and it would quit.

After I followed the above steps, I was able to change the settings FINALLY :)

Lastly, i know this is a beta, so this is gonna sound weird what I am about to state, but I KID YOU NOT!!!!!

When I set my gfx settings to low medium high, I got really bad FPS, so I said screw it and CRANKED it to ULTRA and PRESTO...smooth as butter....

i don;t know why, I don;t care to know (probably bc its a beta build) but now I am in ultra, beautiful FPS action.

it's unfinished software on brand new technology, what did you expect?  Most other players are running into the same thing.  Don't go RMA'ing your hardware just because a beta has no good drivers or fixes yet

Just to see if the gpu was problem. 2600k @ 5.2ghz was for that screenshot and 1024x768 at 25% 3d scalingJigglyWiggly_

If u have any probs with bf4 FREEZING FIX ok i hade this problem just bought the game go to your graphics card website and maually update it my cpu usage was at 100 % and the game was unplayable until i downladed the new driver myself from nvidia u need the r331.65 driver any problems hit me up on skype at justinmbradshaw ill be in BF4 im sure i can help u if u have a amd card also also im looking for bf4 players for a squad my id is nightmarexfxhd plz let me know if i fixed your problem and have fun
