Will I be able to run Bad company 2 efficiently with my specs?

Intel Core2 Quad CPU 9400 @ 2.66GHz

3.2 GB Ram (windows xp)

Geforce 7900 GS 256mb

poorly. Probably not even. Maybe all low, i think minimum req for GPU is 8800 gt

Yeah, your graphics card is lacking. If you have some money to spend, you could definitely purchase a new video card for it..

You can run it medium to low settings. The minimum GPU requirement is an 7800 GT..

The game will kill that video card. Trust me it's slowing down like crazy on my 1 gb 4870 right now.

it's more cpu intensive than gpu. he might run it on medium-low settings

go to www.canyourunit.com and choose game and software will check can ur unit take it :)

With my 7900 gs right now, I can run games like modern warfare 2 fine, and rainbow six vegas 2 with minor lag issues.

What Nvidia card can I get for about 100$ that would be a good investment?

A quick search on new egg gives me the geforce 9800 GT on sale. Certainly better then your current 7900 GS. Its a respectable card for certain and it is a step up. Personally i would up the limit a bit to future proof yourself but i can understand if you have to work under that constraint.

Everything else is fine. Just spring for at least an 8800 gt. Honestly, I'm not sure why you have a quad core with a 7900

What's your cpu? Cause I run the game MAXED out on a 4870 512mb!
