Did anyone else get into the closed beta?

I just got an email this morning saying well done and stuff, with a beta key, when I don't even remembering registering, unless it was automatic afterbeing in theBattlefield Heores beta aswell.

Anyway its awesome, a lil buggy, but its a beta.

Let me just say its pretty fun, and really hard until you get used to the long distances.

I got the invitation today, tried it out, sorta buggy though on 1080p..

So is it more like BF2 or BC2?

I signed up the day it was avaliable, still nothing. I'm even a battlefield veteran. I'm just hoping for an invite soon, as BF2 would be my favourite game of all time.

I wonder if it's going to end up like Battlefield Heroes, where you will be able to buy in-game advantages for real money.KeyboardNinja

I just want to warn people about what EA done to Battlefield Heroes, because theres a chance they could do that same with Battlefield Play4Free. When Battlefield Heroes first started, they stated that people will not be able to in-game advantages, but players can buy cosmetics which has no influence on the Battlefield at all.Theres even a video of Ben Cousins saying it. They stuck to their word for about 1 year, when they had a good playerbase. They then released 'tier' weapons which could be obtained by digging into your wallet. EA pulled a 'bait & switch'. By doing this, EA ruined most of the competitive community because their was no 'even playing field'. I know it's abit off-topic, but don't be suprised if EA pull another 'bait & switch' with Battlefield Play4Free.KeyboardNinja

you do realize those weapons are just skins of the Uber and Super weapons you can get with in game money for renting? There still is no real advantage and if your'e good you can easily beat someone with a regular weapon against an uber weapon.

from game footage it looks like bf2 MC more than bf2. that being said its got bigger maps, greater player support and actually seems kind of fun.. id easily give her a go once beta is over.

I've gotten two different emails about it. Which means two different keys! :D
