so i bought battlefield vietnam, and then i went to the website to download the 1.2 update, but it didnt work, and i installed the patch twice, and when i go to a game, it says wrong version and click yes to update, so i did, but its just stuck on the checking for updates screen, any help?

Did you check to see if that patch requires an earlier version, maybe a 1.12 or something? If there isn't an earlier patch, see if there is a later patch that includes all the previous patches. Other than that I'm not sure.
