Battlestations Pacific weapon sounds

Can someone tell me about the weapon sounds and explosions in Battlestations Pacific? The sounds of the guns and even the explosions in the demo were very weak and pale. I hate wimpy gun sounds. The graphics looked bad too in the demo but I think they look better in the final game. But tell me if the weapons sounds are still weak.

Someone here must have this game and played it.
