Besides these parts, what else does a PC need?

My parents say they will pay $1000 for a new computer, since we need a new one for the family to use. I can pay more of my own money if I want to mke it good for gaming. My parents will not let me build one though, and since there giving alot of monwy for it I have to listen to them. Then I came across this on Mwave.com : http://www.mwave.com/mwave/buildit.hmx. Mwave says if you pick out the parts they will asemble everything, load the OS, load other programs, and test everthing for you. They would do this for only $80. To me this seemed fine and it would still be alot better then buying a pre-built. Do you think I should do this? Anyway if I do, I probably need to buy all the parts there. I have picked out most of the core parts (below), but what else do I need. Do I need powere cords and other connecters so they can assemble it properly? If everything doesn't work for the computer they put all the parts back and you are charged with a restocking fee. So I really want to make sure I have everything when I submit my order. What other things are needed to get a PC running? :D please help!

I'd go for a different power supply - this one would be perfect. That link looks funny though, so if it doesn't work, that's the 500w Enermax Liberty power supply. A sound card might be nice as well, but that's not really a necessity.

Looks great.

I'm assuming the case does not come with case fans (or does it? The description is a little ambiguous.) Therefore look into a pair of 120mm fans.

Grab some Arctic Silver 5 too assuming MWave will put it on for you (specify through a special request maybe?)

2 fans is not a lot. You can add a fan later ...and add a sound card later too. For the monitor, mouse , keyboard you can go to newegg or somewhere else for better prices and better choices

If you run under budget...look at the 300 Gb hard drive , it has a 16 mb cache , or a plextor sata DVD burner

I don't need like a bunch of cables and other connecter stuff? They will put the PC together with just the parts I have listed?

The case and motherboard usually come with all the connectors you need (meaning, you only need extra cables if you're adding a large number of drives.) So you're fine in that respect.

hmmmmmm......okay. So does the main power cable that is outside of the PC plugging it in come with the power suplly? So you think if I ordered these parts they would have know problem assembling it and ship it all working to me? Also do you guys think they want you to include the mouse, keyboard, moniter, speakers, or do you just think they want you to put the parts to build the core PC?
