Logitech Z-2300s, lots of power, clean sound, they sound great hooked up to my HT Omega Claro+ soundcard.

Klipsch 2.1 sounds pretty good, that's what I have. ....and I have a Diamond sound card goes with it.

Klipsch is probably the best but also probably the most expensive. The Z-2300 is probably the best bang for the buck (i also have them and really enjoy them).

My friend has a comparable pair of Klipch speakers, they Pro Media 2.1s I think. Mine seem to pronounce the highs a bit better. Not sure where the Promedia 2.1s are in price though.

I'd go with Logitech. Great bang for the buck. Some people love Klipsch as well, but Klipsch seems to be more of a love it or hate it sound.
