[QUOTE="10MP"]Vertex 3 is the highest performance you can get currently, they have had trouble with them, make sure they're fix'ed it before you buy.there are oczs which look good vertex3 for $160 but cant decide.

This. Vertex 3 is currently the best. For the most part they work fine minus a few issues here and there. Intel's 310 series is far more problematic. I'd go with a vertex if it were me.
what problems? i looked and all i see is positive reviews and no user feedback on newegg.

These is what I found in a quick google search, if you google it you'll see. ;)
The most seem to have problem with the v2.06 driver for the Vertex 3 resulting in a Bsod or a can't find the HDD error. But from what I see you should be fine if your using another driver. The Intel problems results in a powerloss to the SSD witch end up in a 8MB left to use with the rest gone forever, a new driver release should resolve that too. None of them seems to really aknowlage the problems, Intel admitted the problem but state it as a unusual problem, OCZ slightly blame sandforce but sandforce clam they cant see the problem and replicate it. Intel have the least problems with their SSD's according to RMA statistic but the 320 serie seems affected and may not be calculated in the older stats. I would take the Vertex 3 and get a really fast drive, if it fail it's up to OCZ to fix it. :)gotta admit i was really just looking for someone to explain the problems of the intel m and vertex3 besides the standard crashing and failing drives after 1 week.
