just look at this laptop
Its an 8600 for $1100:shock:, usually laptops with those go for like $1600, and it looks sexy and has a load of features, and has a hd-dvd drive and an hdmi port, now for the proccesor, I can probably just overclock.

Nice... only thing I don't like is the screen resolution. Also, I wouldn't recommend overclocking a laptop. They run hot enough as is.

That's pretty cool. Though I'm wondering how the hell that 1.5GHz processor's gonna play HD-DVD without dropping frames.

I just overclocked my laptop to 2.33GHz, and I still get CPU usage up as high as 85% when I play high-bitrate HD-DVD/Blu-Ray through my external USB drive.

I think the 8600GT has something thats supposed to decode hd stuff (h.264) very smoothly.

Ah. I sure wish my lappy's GMA950 chipset could decode HD in hardware. lol.It sure would save me a lot of battery life.
