I drunkenly bid on a HD 5870 last night after coming home and now have a second video card. So which revision of the catalyst drivers should I use for the crossfire setup?

Use the latest. I have 2 5850s and they haven't given me any problems so I'd assume they would work fine for you too.

ATI Radeon HD 5870 is the better driver because it has enhanced power, performance and reliability. So, I will go with ATI Radeon HD 5870.

I use the 11.9 RC driver with the 11.8 CAP 3.
