I gotta say Generals. I loved the realism. But, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Generals isn't worthy of the CnC name.
I love original, ra2, and ra1. They were all fun to me though including the fps one. The only game I absoulty couldn't stand was Generals. I may have liked it if it didn't have the command and conquer name attached to it, but it did and had nothing to do with the series, so I hated it.
generals was pretty fun, who doesn't love sending swarms of terrorists towards an enemy base or better catching the terrorists before they get to your base with a well placed M.O.A.B
Most people will probably disagree, but I liked 3 the best. It had a fantastic campaign. It's a real shame that EA were stupid when it came to updating the game, so if you update the game parts of the campaign become impossible -.-' Also, its expansion Kane's Wrath was the first RTS that I actually enjoyed playing online. xDkieranb2000
Red Alert 3?

No, Red Alert 3 was terrible. CnC3.[QUOTE="555SSOO"][QUOTE="kieranb2000"]Most people will probably disagree, but I liked 3 the best. It had a fantastic campaign. [QUOTE="Fuzzy_Bear123"]TIberian Sun, played that game for a very long time.bobabanReally? That was the most unbalanced one, NOD were way OP. Red Alert 1 or 2. Also the original I will always remember. Eh, I was in middle school when I played it so I didn't really notice that kind of stuff. I just liked to see stuff blow up :P.
Red Alert 2 was the best, it is the reason that I got into PC gaming. C&C3 was just awful and RA3 wasn't much better. I also loved Tiberian Sun, that would be my 2nd favorite (only for the campaign).

Red Alert was set in the same universe as C&C.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="Tannerr33"]

Red Alert was set in the same universe as C&C. nope, not accoring to westwood and EA. they cut off all ties between the series. They tried to tie them in but decided that is was bad and stopped it. Plus the tie-ins that they did have were extremely small and not very noticable so I doubt anyone would know that. RA is a separate universe, not in the tiberian one. And I actually loved Generals, All of the CnC games were amazing up to an including generals, then C&C 3 sucked and RA3 wasn't too good.[QUOTE="Phoenix534"][QUOTE="Tannerr33"]

Red Alert was set in the same universe as C&C.No it wasn't. It was set in the Red Alert Universe. There's the Red Alert Universe, Tiberian Universe(or Tiberium by some), and the Generals Universe. All three are unrelated.

I liked CnC1, never really got into red alert. Generals was probably my favorite. With a patched ZH it was epic.
EDIT: Oh and I really did not like RA3. That game was very underwhelming, although funny at times.

Actually, Westwood said that the first Red Alert was a prequel to Tiberian storyline. Therefore, same universe. Then Red Alert 2 and Yuri's revenge took place in a parallel universe, so unrelated. However, Red Alert had Kane in it, advising Stalin and pulling the strings behind everything, as he does. And CnC3 references him being involved with the USSR during that time period too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHdgstg-7KY[QUOTE="kieranb2000"][QUOTE="Phoenix534"]
